Susan asks…
crb check by UK employer?
Just for the UK. I’ve just now, couple of weeks ago finished my fixed contract with a company that should have done an enhanced CRB on me due to me having contact with young people (no swearing from people who hate me on y/a) i do know that they’ve recently changed the laws in the UK so that each time you change job you have to have a new CRB done but that does not seem to be the case or companies don’t seem to follow this legislation because for each job that is advertised they ask that you are in date (within a year) of an enhanced CRB from your last employer to be even considered for the job.
Having spoken to my last employer who did make me fill out a CRB before and during my employment with them, informed me in a very cold manner that they never sent out CRB’s because of lack of funding, putting to one side the morality/recklessness of these actions i cannot apply for one myself so what can i do in this situation?
On one side it angers me that they are putting in danger the y/p that attend that centre by not doing CRB’s like in my case people who work there, but on the other hand i don’t want to take away the centre because it does help the more disadvantaged youths that do attend it and i do sort of care for the centre.
How am i suppose to get a CRB now to apply for work where you need to have an in date CRB?
Pip answers:
The company would not be reprimanded in any way – it is their decision to do checks and thier risk if something untoward happens. I work for CRB and we would not do anything in this case – we are not there to regulate employers, we provide information only.
With regards to getting a check – you can’t get one yourself. When you are offered a job that requires a check, the employer will apply for it on your behalf (but you may have to pay – depends on the company).

what to do about crb by uk employer?

I agree i’m a youth worker, and this has only come to light to me by me facing some problems when applying for new work, as i said i care for the young people who do attend the centre i believe it does do substantial help for the more disandvantaged youth, but i agree this does not mean that its ok to put them at this risk. Where would be the best place to report them and what effect would this inturn have on the centre?

A RAY OF HOPE PERHAPS?
As new Socialist President Francois Hollande advances up the Champs Elysees and the Greek fight against austerity continues it’s tempting to hope for better things.
But that temptation has to be tempered with a realisation of the sheer enormity of the beast that is our common enemy.
Because it’s not just that our Tory-Lib Dem coalition represents a class that prizes its own selfish interests above those of the people of the world.
That’s bad enough on its own.
But worse is the blatant greed, dishonesty and callousness that individuals in that class display in their Gadarene rush for profit and power.
Let’s look at today – just an average day in the life of Cameron’s mucky little empire.
Nothing unusual, just the normal catalogue of sordid and unpleasant manoeuvres by a class that’s forgotten, if it ever knew, anything about morality or probity.
The Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT) revealed leaked financial reports from London Midland showing how £1.25 million will be made from cuts, including the closure of 86 out of 90 ticket offices and the loss of 100 jobs.
RMT general secretary Bob Crow said: “These leaked documents show that for vandalising ticket offices and destroying jobs across the service, London Midland and its shareholders stand to profit to the tune of £1.25 million.”
Loads more profit, but from what?
From the sacrifice of jobs and taking a chance on the safety of customers, that’s from what. The rich get richer and the poor suffer.
Just up the road in Parliament worried MPs revealed another, if anything more sordid, scam which is lining the pockets of the rich at the cost of ordinary folk.
People are suffering because of a shortage of some NHS prescription medicines which is having an “adverse” impact on patients, including vulnerable groups such as those with mental health problems, the all-party pharmacy group said.
The MPs’ group said that the shortages had been caused mainly by the export of medicines intended for the British market to other EU countries.
This exporting is conducted by speculators and is legal under EU and UK law, they noted.
Legal it may be, moral it most certainly isn’t.
Again, the rich get richer and the poor suffer.
On a smaller but equally significant scale Rupert Murdoch’s Times reports that a so-called “turnaround” expert stands to earn £470,000 for six months’ part-time work while the accountancy firm he was brought in to save cuts a tenth of its workforce at his behest.
Yet again, legal it may be, moral it certainly isn’t.
Elsewhere, Standard Chartered chairman Sir John Peace has called on the Tory political “cavalry” to lead the charge against European plans for a cap limiting the outrageous bonuses paid to bankers.
We might point out here that Sir John’s payout as Standard Chartered chairman comprises of £650,000 in cash and £500,000 in restricted shares granted in two equal tranches annually, a total of £1.15m every bloody year.
Sir John is also entitled to a car and driver and is provided with private healthcare. Perhaps he can’t afford them out of his wages.
“To simply disadvantage Europe, and more especially the City of London, would seem to me totally wrong,” Sir John said.
We would suggest that a bigger disadvantage to City of London firms is being lumbered with paying ridiculous million-plus handouts to a distasteful array of gamblers and windbags every year.
But there you go. We, at least, tend to look at the morality and justice of these payouts in the context of the British people as a whole, not of a ragbag of transnational speculators operating in the capital to the detriment of everybody except their unpleasant selves.
It’s long past time that this pack of mendacious criminals was removed from business along with their media apologists.
Oh – and they can take their political cavalry with them as they leave.
Pip answers:
So in a nut shell, what your saying is the British ruling class is filling its pockets with no real concern for the stupid working class. No change there then. Except perhaps they serve the European Empire now instead of the British Empire. Cant argue, your right.
Thomas asks…
How many of “gods” 10 commandments should become law?
Exodus 20:2–17
No other gods but me —
Pagans from the ancient tribes of Europe and the UK gone by the force of law and waves of legally sanction persecution from the religon of love — again — in a repeat of King James and others from centuries ago
Strict idol laws and legal definitions of statues and art vs idolatry etc for fear of a multiple generation curse being entrenched in societal and legal assumptions
Taking the Lords name in vain police teams and or fines for doing so and or prison terms etc (be careful stubbing your toe on the bed in the middle of the night the church police might be called)
Legal definitions of work and how that will be illegal and enforced — including legal arguments based on biblical interpretation over which day is the “sabbath”
Legal definitions of honoring your parents and a social services sort of network to patrol and punish wrong doing children who are found or suspected of not honoring properly — Or maybe just an explanation for premature death — ( John Smith dies at age 23 — must not have been honoring his parents enough case closed )
No murdering — unless you are in uniform or another of multiple exceptions I am sure will be made
No stealing
No adultery — so the chastity police and courts will likely be busy The morality police ( now if they link this law to thinking in a lustful way then that legally will count as committing the act )
False witness stuff —
No coveting — so the covet police writing fines or imposing jail terms etc
—————-
How many of the above 10 commandments from a god in a mountain as recorded by a sheep herder whose [people almost got blown off the earth for making a golden cow should be entrenched into law ?
============
I am thinking no murder no theft no bearing false witness under oath and throw the rest right the f0—k out
So much for divine works — 3 out of 10 isn’t much of a recommendation for a god that created everything and knows it all now is it — its not even a pass at 30 %
Pip answers:
It is “God’s” not gods.
I think you will reap what you sow, trout,as all of us. : )

David asks…
Should the USA take an example from the UK?
•Attack American traditions, specifically Christian traditions and the traditional American family
• Portray moral rectitude and morality as irrelevant or as religious superstition and extremism
•Engage in “get-even” policies that support discrimination when it benefits historically disadvantaged groups
•Punish and/or discourage achievement through taxation and fiscal policies which promote the redistribution of wealth
• Attacking basic rights of property and contract
•Use the rulings of the Judicial branch of the government as de facto law, irrevocable by anything short of Constitutional amendment or a future court ruling, thus bypassing the legislative process. Roe V. Wade is the most frequently cited example of “judicial activism”. (48 million dead and counting)
•Weaken the military strength and morale of the country by vilifying the practice of armed combat and hesitating to use force when it appears necessary
•Use regulatory bodies over private enterprise to accomplish social goals and restrict competition (government, education, labor and health care)
•Establish secular and progressive social policy, including support for gay marriage, abortion, liberal drug policy, euthanasia and prostitution legalization.
•Implement a foreign policy supporting the selected protection of human rights and multiculturalism through activism, social intervention and violence (social anarchism)
• The removing of the individual as the ultimate economic, social and political unit and replacing with collectivism (Hillary Clintons Village)
•Support illegal immigration to undermine elections, produce generational dependants and promote diversity and dilution of the English language.
And secure a voting block to win national elections
• Create a culture of dependency through national social welfare programs resulting in a Nanny State and the subjugation of personal liberties including confiscation of guns, property, wealth and liberties
• Limit individual liberty and the structure of law and order essential to it
• Secularize the population by attacking religion thus desensitizing moral resistance to freedom of thought
• Genocide by disintegration of political and social institutions such as marriage and the church
• Demonize the ethics of self-reliance, courage, forbearance, resilience and self-determination criticizing individual success as excess (Blame the wealthy)
• Subjugation of our sovereign nation by treaties and illegal immigration.
• The deconstruction of American values through the promotion of multiculturalism and abdication of American sovereignty in favor of Globalization. (Cap and Tax, United Nations, Open Borders, Illegal Immigration)
• Punish competence, achievement, competition, excellence and discipline thus dumbing down the individual in an effort to claim equality (No score games)
• The expansion and control of state owned education to indoctrinate and force conformity (Department of Education and teacher unions)
• The systematic indoctrination of students through an imposed oligarchy of the education system and the restriction of freedom of education to favored public institutions excluding religious and private institutions resulting in an extreme liberal bias in academics and journalism
• Destroy personal sovereignty and prevent strict limits on coercion by the state (Obamacare).
• Use the actions of lunatics and attempt to attach them to conservative opinions in an effort to gain the appearance of liberal superiority. Name calling using inappropriate terms like Fascism in an attempt to attach them to conservatives
• Create a revisionist history to justify warped political views and anti-Americanism
• Use the politics of “personal destruction”, class warfare and accusations of racism and corruption to tear down any opposition
• Usurp Congressional authority by using federal regulatory agencies and executive orders to achieve their goals when they cannot get them through the legislative branch
The UK has done all of these to it’s country. Nobody in the UK cares about cultural heritage or any of that Fascist bullshit that Americans care too much about.
Pip answers:
Yes, take an example and make sure that we don’t become more like that butt-backwards dicsuckership…er dictatorship nation. Now please stop being a retard.
